In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Chesnee Eagles.
The Fighting Tigers (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee tipped St. John's (Houston, TX), 6-4, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Landrum (Landrum, SC). The Cardinals go into the 2A Region 1 game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Landrum tipped Spartanburg Christian Academy (Spartanburg, SC), 11-3, in a non-league game.
