The Wakefield Wolverines baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting East Wake Academy Eagles to 0 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolverines (6-0) will now prepare for their match against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, East Chapel Hill was overwhelmed by Broughton (Raleigh, NC), 11-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Wake Forest gained a win over Enloe (Raleigh, NC), 10-0, in a non-league match.
