The Riverdale Rebels baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host John Ehret Patriots to 6 in the Rebels non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Rebels (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA). The Green Devils go into the non-league match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Plaquemine was overwhelmed by Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 5-0, in a non-league match.
The Patriots (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Owls go into the 5A District 8 match with a 10-2 record.
