The Central Cabarrus Vikings ran past the host Hickory Red Tornadoes basketball team by a final score of 87-78 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 15. Central Cabarrus will attempt to improve on its 32-0 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 28-2 record after their 63-44 non-league win over Westover (Fayetteville, NC).
