Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) and the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), saw South Stokes's baseball squad edge Alleghany by a count of 9-8.

Coming up next, the Sauras play the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 13. South Stokes will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Phoenix enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Morehead (Eden, NC).

The Trojans now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Surry for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 20.
