Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL), 11-3 in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Naperville North for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 19.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 14. Minooka will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Redhawks come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL).
