Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Non Varsity Opponent (, ), 17-2 in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host DC International for a non-league battle on Friday, March 15. Jackson-Reed will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Dragons record now stands at 3-0.

In their next game, the clash with the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) in a WVSLA -DII East battle, on Thursday, March 14. Non Varsity Opponent will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Applemen come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 20-5 league loss to Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV).
