The Captain Shreve Gators softball team (Shreveport, LA), was routed 4-1 in Tuesday's league test with the host Benton Tigers (Benton, LA)

Coming up next, the Tigers clash with the Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA) in a 5A District 1 test, on Thursday, March 14. Benton will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 5-10 record after their 12-8 league loss to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA).

The Gators (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Vikings come into the 5A District 1 test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Airline edged Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 10-0, in a league test.
