Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Crusaders now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Payson for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 13. Northwest Christian will battle a Longhorns squad coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Gilbert Christian falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ) to battle the Chargers in a 3A South Central challenge on Wednesday, March 13. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Benjamin Franklin lost 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ)
