The Northeast Jones Tigers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Perry Central Bulldogs to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Northeast Jones moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to West Jones (Laurel, MS) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, March 14. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 2-4. West Jones won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) in a 3A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, March 19. Perry Central will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record.
