Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA), 12-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Central Lafourche for a 5A District 7 challenge on Thursday, March 14. Terrebonne will face a Trojans squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, St. James falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA) to face the Cardinals in a 3A District 8 challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. E.D. White lost 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA)
