The Broadneck Bruins baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Annapolis Area Christian Eagles to 4 in the Bruins non-league win on Wednesday.
The Bruins now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host John Carroll for a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. Broadneck will play a Patriots team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Hereford (Parkton, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Annapolis Area Christian drops to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles host St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD) to play the Vikings in a MIAA B Black test on Thursday, March 13. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 1-1. St. John's Catholic Prep won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against The Heights (Potomac, MD)
