The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) and the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), saw Lincolnton's baseball team gain a win over Ashbrook by a tally of 26-3.

The Wolves (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors enter the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle with a 0-8 record. In their last battle, West Caldwell was overwhelmed by Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC), 14-9, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Greenwave face the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a Big South 3A battle, on Friday, March 14. Ashbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Mountaineers enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 12-2 league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).
