The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Houston Christian Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the host East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS), saw Houston Christian's baseball team gain a win over East Union by a tally of 11-5.
The Mustangs (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS). The Jaguars enter the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Wayne Academy was overwhelmed by South Panola (Batesville, MS), 12-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Urchins face the Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 13. East Union will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Mavericks enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Mooreville (Mooreville, MS).
