Georgia High School Baseball - Newton loses to Morgan County

The Newton Rams baseball squad (Covington, GA), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA)

With the triumph, Morgan County moves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to West Laurens (Dexter, GA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league contest on Monday, March 17. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 9-4.

The Rams now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a AAAAAA Region 4 contest on Thursday, March 13. Newton will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-4.
