Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA) and the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), observed Valencia's volleyball team top El Modena by a count of 3-1.

The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA). The Mariners enter the contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Pacifica was knocked off by Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vanguards meet the Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA) in a Freeway contest, on Thursday, March 13. El Modena will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 5-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Troy (Fullerton, CA).
