New York High School Basketball - Salamanca holds off Newfane

March 12, 2025: Salamanca, NY 14779

The Salamanca Warriors basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Newfane Panthers to 34 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warriors now possess a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hornell for a non-league game on Saturday, March 15. Salamanca will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 76-44 non-league win over Lyons (Lyons, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 21-3.

With the loss, Newfane falls to 4-1 on the campaign.
