The North Myrtle Beach Chiefs baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting West Brunswick Trojans to 1 in the Chiefs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Chiefs now hold a 1-0 record.

With the defeat, West Brunswick drops to 2-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Ashley (Wilmington, NC) to play the Screaming Eagle in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Screaming Eagle go into the test with a record of 1-2. Ashley lost 11-3 in their recent non-league test against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)
