North Carolina High School Baseball - South Caldwell defeats West Lincoln

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host South Caldwell Spartans baseball team scored a close 9-4 win over the West Lincoln Rebels.
The Spartans (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers go into the game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Watauga nudged South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 9-6, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rebels play the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a game, on Friday, March 14. West Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Red Devils go into the game with a 3-1 record after their 5-1 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
