With the victory, Monarch improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, March 15. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-3. Pine Creek lost 11-2 in their recent non-league game against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO)

The Cougars now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakewood for a non-league game on Friday, March 14. Cherokee Trail will play a Tigers team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Golden (Golden, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
