The Green Hope Falcons lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Wake Forest Cougars to 2 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Falcons now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Holly Springs for a Southwest Wake challenge on Thursday, March 13. Green Hope will clash with a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 12-8 league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Wake Forest falls to 2-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC) to clash with the Huskies in a Northern Athletic/Quad County challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Huskies go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Heritage won 19-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Clayton (Clayton, NC)
