Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA), 8-7 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Johns Creek improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Hough (Cornelius, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league game on Saturday, March 15. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 5-0. Hough won 11-7 in their recent non-league game against Weddington (Matthews, NC)

The Knights now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest DeKalb for a 1A Area 7 game on Friday, March 14. Midtown will play a Panthers team coming off a 20-8 non-league loss to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
