The Anderson County Mavericks softball squad (Clinton, TN), was routed 11-4 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Summit Spartans (Spring Hill, TN)

With the triumph, Summit improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Spartans host Ravenwood (Brentwood, TN) to face the Raptors in a 4A District 10 contest on Monday, March 17. The Raptors enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Ravenwood lost 10-5 in their recent non-league contest against Siegel (Murfreesboro, TN)

The Mavericks now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Oak Ridge for a non-league contest on Monday, March 17. Anderson County will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Knox Central (Barbourville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
