South Carolina High School Softball - Andrew Jackson held off by Lugoff-Elgin

In Wednesday's non-league test, the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) softball squad got by the host Andrew Jackson Volunteers (Kershaw, SC), by a tally of 6-5.

Next, the Demons clash with the West Florence Knights (Florence, SC) in a AAAAA Region 5 test, on Thursday, March 13. Lugoff-Elgin will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 6-2 record after their 15-0 league win over Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC).

The Volunteers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Parkwood was nudged by Buford (Lancaster, SC), 7-5, in a non-league test.
