The Bell City Bruins softball squad (Bell City, LA), 15-13 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA)

With the triumph, Iowa improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA) to face the Charging Indians in a 4A District 3 contest on Thursday, March 13. The Charging Indians enter the contest with a record of 1-4.

The Bruins now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Lacassine for a B District 6 contest on Tuesday, March 18.
