The Sabino Sabercats triumphed over the visiting Buena Colts softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Sabercats meet the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 12. Sabino will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ).

The Colts (0-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Marana (Tucson, AZ). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Marana overcame Cienega (Vail, AZ), 6-4, in a non-league challenge.
