North Carolina High School Softball - Foard bounces East Burke

The Foard Tigers softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting East Burke Cavaliers to 4 in the Tigers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Tigers now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Lincoln for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 13. Foard will confront a Rebels team coming off a 11-2 league loss to Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, East Burke moves to 2-5 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to confront the Bears in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle on Friday, March 14. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 5-2. Bunker Hill won 11-2 in their recent league battle against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
