South Carolina High School Softball - James Island bested by Oceanside Collegiate Academy

The Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks triumphed over the visiting James Island Trojans softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Landsharks meet the Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 14. Oceanside Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against May River (Bluffton, SC). The Sharks enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, May River was routed by Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 5-3, in a non-league challenge.
