The Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA) softball routed the host Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA), 18-6 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Scotties now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mars for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 18. Southmoreland will encounter a Fightin' Planets team coming off a 19-2 non-league loss to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Fightin' Planets record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Keystone Oaks moves to 1-1 on the season. The Golden eagles host Central Valley (Monaca, PA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league outing on Monday, March 17. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
