Arizona High School Softball - Seton Catholic bounces Mayer

The Seton Catholic Sentinels softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Mayer Wildcats to 1 in the Sentinels non-league win on Wednesday.

The Sentinels now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Florence for a 3A South Central battle on Tuesday, March 18. Seton Catholic will encounter a Gophers team coming off a 19-4 non-league loss to Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ). The Gophers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Mayer moves to 2-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Camp Verde (Camp Verde, AZ) to encounter the Cowboys in a non-league battle on Friday, March 14. The Cowboys come into the battle with a record of 2-8. Camp Verde lost 7-4 in their recent non-league battle against Bisbee (Bisbee, AZ)
