The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA), saw Central's baseball team gain a win over St. Michael by a tally of 7-4.
The Wildcats (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Holden (Holden, LA). The Rockets enter the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Holden got by Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA), 10-9, in a non-league contest.
The Warriors now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walker for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 14. St. Michael will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Live Oak (Watson, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-5.
