Arkansas High School Baseball - Westside loses to Cross County

Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), 13-4 in a non-league game.
The Thunderbirds (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Brinkley (Brinkley, AR). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Brinkley was overwhelmed by Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR), 15-0, in a non-league game.
The Warriors now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trumann for a non-league match on Friday, March 13. Westside will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.
