In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Silver Fighting Colts baseball team scored a close 8-5 win over the Jefferson Silver Foxes.

The Fighting Colts (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Andress (El Paso, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Andress by Parkland (El Paso, TX), 3-0, in a non-league match.

The Silver Foxes now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hatch Valley for a non-league test on Friday, March 13. Jefferson will play a Bears team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM). The Bears record now stands at 0-2.
