In Monday's non-league test, the host Assumption Rockets lacrosse squad scored a good 18-1 triumph over the Male Bulldogs.
Coming up next, the Rockets meet the Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 14. Assumption will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 18-12 non-league loss to Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY).
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Christian Academy-Louisville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. Male will battle a Centurions team coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Centurions record now stands at 3-0.
