Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets confront the Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 15. Herndon will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Seahawks now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to McLean for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. South Lakes will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-1.
