Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA), 1-0 in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peninsula for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 15. Santa Monica will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 13-7 non-league win over Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-0.

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Compton Tarbabes (Compton, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, March 14. Cabrillo will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Tarbabes come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 14-3 league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA).
