South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lakeside Panthers (Evans, GA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Thoroughbreds confront the Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, March 14. South Aiken will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 4-2 league loss to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC).

The Panthers now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Harlem for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Lakeside will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-0 league win over Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-2.
