Mississippi High School Softball - Harrison Central nudges Choctaw County

Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Red Rebels now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Rankin for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 18. Harrison Central will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Choctaw County falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to New Hope (Columbus, MS) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
