The Center Hill Mustangs baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots to 2 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their match against South Panola (Batesville, MS). The Tigers go into the 6A Region 1 match with a 9-3 record. In their last match, South Panola edged Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Patriots (10-5) will now prepare for their match against Tri-County Academy (Flora, MS). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Tri-County Academy was edged by Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 4-1, in a non-league match.
