In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Robinson Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Community School of Davidson Spartans.
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights go into the South Piedmont 3A game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Lake Norman Charter tipped Carson (China Grove, NC), 7-3, in a league game.
The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC). The Lions go into the Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Langtree Charter by Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 9-2, in a league game.
