North Carolina High School Baseball - East Gaston defeats West Iredell

March 13, 2024: Mt. Holly, NC 28120

The East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) baseball trounced the visiting West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), 14-8 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Warriors encounter the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 18. East Gaston will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).

The Warriors now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Statesville for a Western Foothills 3A contest on Friday, March 15. West Iredell will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 17-3 league loss to East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-3.
