The Grant Community Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Johnsburg Skyhawks to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Thunder go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Woodstock North was overwhelmed by North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Skyhawks (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Elmwood Park gained a win over Clemente (Chicago, IL), 12-2, in a non-league match.
