The Piedmont Panthers baseball team (Monroe, NC), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC)

The Tigers now hold a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albemarle for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A outing on Friday, March 15. Mount Pleasant will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Panthers confront the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 14. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).
