In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Wake Forest Cougars lacrosse squad scored a good 16-4 victory over the Leesville Road Pride.
The Cougars now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hunt for a Northern Athletic/Quad County test on Tuesday, March 19. Wake Forest will face a Warriors squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Pride face the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 14. Leesville Road will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 22-1 league loss to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC).
