Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL), 10-9 in a non-league game.
The Broncos (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Oak Park-River Forest nudged St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 20-5, in a non-league game.
