The South Mecklenburg Sabres lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the host Parkwood Wolf Pack to 4 in the Sabres non-league win on Wednesday.
With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Sabres travel to St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC) to play the Sharks in a non-league match on Saturday, March 16. The Sharks go into the match with a record of 6-2. St. James won 19-2 in their recent non-league match against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC)
With the defeat, Parkwood drops to 1-3 on the season. The Wolf pack travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to play the Spartans in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River match on Monday, March 18. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 0-3. Sun Valley lost 17-4 in their recent non-league match against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)
