In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Myers Park Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 10-5 victory over the Porter Ridge Pirates.
The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Palisades was overwhelmed by Myers Park (Charlotte, NC), 10-6, in a non-league game.
The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Mooresville tipped Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 7-5, in a non-league game.
