Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY), 3-2 in a non-league battle.
The Broncos now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tates Creek for a non-league battle on Friday, March 15.
In their next game, the Bearcats clash with the Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 25. Walton-Verona will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
