With the triumph, Abingdon improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Falcons host Auburn (Riner, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, March 21. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a game, on Tuesday, March 19. Ashe County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 5-0 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Maiden (Maiden, NC).
