The Highland Park Giants lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the host Wheeling Wildcats to 0 in the Giants non-league win on Wednesday.
The Giants (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Prospect was overwhelmed by Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL), 16-6, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record.
